Mistakes in English

I found this topic quite interesting.
What do you think, are grammar or other mistakes like "she do, they has etc' are disturbing while you speak in english with someone?
Which mistakes ARE disturbing?
Do you remember funny situations just because someone misunderstood you?

I hate when sb speaks "she/he like/do/go" etc. ... I don't know why but it annoys me... :/

The most mistakes I do are in conversations, when I mixing polish words with English. It happened when I am very tired so my friends have a laugh.

I'm the same way as w0la. Especially at the place I'm staying now, a lot of people make a lot of mistakes.

I had funny situation few years back when it was very busy @ work and I jumped at my collegue and told him a sentence in Polish (i didnt realized that in that moment) and he just opened his eyes on max and said 'WHAAAAT' LOL

Also quite some time ago I started noticing how many mistakes r made in english press - and im talkin about well known newspapers... so whats the point of learning all the proper grammar in poland if they dont care about it here

True, thanks. Many English people are doing mistakes when speak, you would be surprised because we are really not that bad.

About mistakes...
Some polish people translate polish words in english for example in this way:
siostra zakonna - sister behind horses
pomadka - after mother
;D

But seriously..
I learn English seven years? ... and for sure you see a lot of mistakes in my english I have a problem with times, what is more a don't know a lot of english words. If I learn seven years some language I should speak prerfectly... but my english is terrible.
Therefore schools are not a good place for learn a language.. the best way to learn language is go abroad.

And I agree with your statement about learning English. I see no purpose in learning English at school. We learn many years and we still can't normally speak with some Englishman. I was watching, even when I was 6 years old, cartoons in English, games in English with no translation. It stays in person some way from a kid and now English is a lot easier for me. I can chill out and speak with Englishman like I'm speaking with some Polish.
And yea, the best way is go abroad. You begin to speak, hear and even think in English. Yea, after only one week I was thinking in English and I had problems with concentration when somebody told me something in Polish. It was like "wha..? Eeee co?" You can learn abroad in a year language which you would learn in Poland 7 years for example. Waste of time, huh?
