step by step detailed video tutorial how to download, install and activate Adobe Photoshop and After Effects CS5. It is tutorial but also prove of activation this two CS5 applications on my system

Clean your system from traces of old Adobe Suit that was installed on your PC(if it was installed)

Run the Adobe CS5 cleaning script or CS4/CS3 depends what Adobe suite you have had installed before.
Note: uninstall your Adobe CS application first before using the cleaning script

Go to Adobe website and download CS5 trial application of your choice (I will be showing you how to install Photoshop and After Effects)

1. Installing Photoshop CS5

- Click on Photoshop setup file and enter this serial number: 1330-1927-7762-6383-0202-0414
- When installation starts you need to modify the “hosts” file (C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc)
- Add this code at the bottom of the “hosts” script:

127.0.0.1 ereg.adobe.com
127.0.0.1 activate.wip3.adobe.com

- Save the file in the same location.
Note 1:

If any1 have problem with editing the “hosts” file (C:\windows\system32\drivers\etc) make sure that you open it with Notepad run as an Administrator because sometimes you can get the message that you haven’t got the right permission to modify the file. I guess most of us already know that but not everybody.
- When the installation finish you can test your Photoshop that is installed and activated what you can check in the HELP Panel from the top menu.

2. Installing Adobe After Effects

- Download Adobe After Effects CS5 trial from Adobe website
- Run the Setup file
- Install as a trial first because it doesn’t accept any other serial at the moment
- When installation finish – you will be given another chance and choice to activate your After Effects using serial number or to start 30 days trial. Well – now you can activate you After Effects with the serial number which you find it when watching the video tutorial.
- Let the application to finish installing
- You don’t have to modify the “hosts” file because you already have done it before (if it is your first CS5 application then you need to fix your “hots” file first)
- Your After Effects should be installed by now so you can test it if works and is activated.
- The last thing you need to do is to block all CS5 application you have installed on your PC from connecting to the internet. Do it with your Firewall.
- To do so – you will need to run them all first – 1 by 1 so they will show up in the firewall programs rules. Block them all
- Block also file “dynamiclinkmanager” found in C: \ Program Files (x86) \ Common Files \ Adobe \ dynamiclink \ CS5

By now everything should be ok and run without of anyproblem

Modifying the “hosts” file let us to BLOCK ADOBE ACTIVATION SERVERS FROM ACCESSING ANY POSSIBLE INFO ABOUT OUR SERIAL NUMBER USED TO INSTALL THE FULL VERSION OF CS5 (it let us to stop CS5 installed on our PC calling home) This way Adobe think that our serial is genuine and let us get on with our business…
