Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood to trzecia pełnoprawna odsłona tej popularnej serii zręcznościówek. Producentem oraz wydawcą gry jest firma Ubisoft, która wydała również bestsellerowe serie jak Splinter Cell oraz

Prince of Persia. Gra została stworzona z myślą o PC, PlayStation 3 oraz Xbox 360.

Wydarzenia przedstawione w grze stanowią bezpośrednią kontynuację wątków znanych z Assassin's Creed II. Gracz ponownie wciela się w postać Ezio Auditore de Firenze, który trudni się rzemiosłem tytułowego

Assassina. Tym razem cała intryga rozgrywa się w murach wiecznego miasta, zaś koncentruje się na brutalnym konflikcie pomiędzy tajemniczym zgromadzeniem zabójców a zakonem Templariuszy.

Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood kontynuuje wszystko to, co widzieliśmy w częściach poprzednich oraz dodaje od siebie garść świeżych pomysłów. Sedno zabawy ponownie stanowi eksploracja miasta, wykonywanie

różnorakich zleceń oraz widowiskowe ucieczki. W trakcie przygody Ezio spotka na swojej drodze kilka historycznych postaci, m.in. Leonarda da Vinci oraz Niccolo Machiavelliego.

W stosunku do poprzednich odsłon cyklu Assassin's Creed, rozbudowuje zestaw dostepnych narzędzi. Wśród nowych zabawek znajdziemy chociażby wachlarz, strzykawkę z trucizną, a nawet prototypowy spadochron.

Co ciekawe, w sytuacjach podbramkowych będziemy mogli skorzystać z pomocnej dłoni innych Assassinów, którzy przebywają w mieście.

Zdecydowanie największą innowacją jaką wprowadza Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood jest tryb rozgrywek sieciowych, który nie pojawił się w żadnej wcześniejszej odsłonie serii.
