The education system in Britain is divided into Nursery, Primary education (ages 4 - 11), Secondary education (ages 11 - 18) and Tertiary education (ages 18+).Children start the primary school at the age of five and attend there untill they reach the age of eleven. At the age of 11 English children move to a secondary school.To go to the secondary school pupils had to pass the entrance exams.If they pass it, they have to choose a secondary school. Then they are able to start the education in technical school or grammar school.When British young people finish their secondary schools, they may start their studies at the university or college. After three years of studying they get the Bachelor's Degree. If they decide to study two years more, they may obtain the Master's Degree.
