na nowym krążku Streisand jawi się nam jako wokalistka jazzowa i kabaretowa _ dojrzała i pełna wyrazistych emocji. Śpiewana przez nią kolekcja znanych światowych klasyków utrzymana jest w spokojnym, kameralnym klimacie i stanowi rozważanie o kochaniu, miłosnych zawodach i próbach ukojenia sercowych rozterek.Nowa płyta była też pierwszą okazją do współpracy Barbry ze znaną i cenioną jazzową pianistką Dianą Krall i jej kwartetem (gitara, bass, perkusja). Ich subtelny, zmysłowy akompaniament w wielu utworach dostarcza emocji nie mniejszych, niż wokal Streisand.Duży wkład w postawanie utworów miał także legendarny kompozytor ("The Shadow of Your Smile") i wielokrotnie nagradzany aranżer Johnny Mandel (poprzednio pracował ze Streisand w 1993 roku przy plycie Back to Broadway oraz z Krall przy albumie When I Look In Your Eyes z 1998 roku).Album _Love Is The Answer_ ukaże się również w specjalnej wersji deluxe. Oprócz płyty w podstawowej wersji (z orkiestrowymi aranżacjami) dołączony będzie do niej bonusowy dysk z utworami z pierwszej płyty w aranżacjach wyłącznie na fortepian, gitarę, gitarę basową i perkusję.
