Nowy serial komediowy Mogło być gorzej (Eastbound and Down).
Jego bohaterem jest Kenny Powers – baseballista, który czasy świetności ma już za sobą.

Kenny Powers w wieku dziewiętnastu lat miał u swych stóp cały świat. Sławę, pieniądze, kontrakty reklamowe oraz wszystko czego można sobie zamarzyć. Dobra passa nie mogła jednak trwać wiecznie. Nadszedł moment, kiedy Kenny stracił formę i wielbicieli. Szybko został wykluczony z gry, której reguły wcześniej niejednokrotnie naginał. Mężczyzna wierzy jednak, że może powrócić do życiowej formy. Wprowadza się do domu swojego brata Dustina. Zatrudnia się również jako nauczyciel WF-u w swoim dawnym liceum. Chce tam przeczekać gorszy okres. Liczy, że znowu dostanie ofertę pracy w amerykańskiej lidze baseballowej.
