OPIS:
Split/Second to gra wyścigowa stworzona przez Black Rock Studio – twórców Pure. Wcielamy się w niej w kierowcę biorącego udział w wielkim telewizyjnym show. Do dyspozycji dostajemy wachlarz stuningowanych sportowych aut, którymi mkniemy po zwycięstwo ku uciesze tłumów.
Znakiem rozpoznawczym Split/Second są niesamowite eksplozje. Autorzy porozmieszczali na torach ładunki wybuchowe, które możemy aktywować w trakcie wyścigu. By to zrobić należy napełnić specjalny pasek (tzw. Power Bar) i znaleźć się odpowiednio blisko rzeczy, którą chcemy wysadzić. Służy to oczywiście uprzykrzaniu życia oponentom, wpuszczaniu ich w pułapki oraz odblokowywaniu skrótów. Na poziom zapełnienia owego paska wpływa to, jak agresywnie i widowiskowo jeździmy oraz wielkość wyrządzonych przez nas szkód. Podejmując odpowiednie działania i popisując się naprawdę kaskaderskimi umiejętnościami możemy detonować coraz większe obiekty.
Model jazdy ma zręcznościowe zacięcie, a w oprawie graficznej ciężko dopatrzyć się jakichś niedociągnięć. Każdy wyścig to pełen wyzwań festiwal kraks, stłuczek, przepychanek i płonących wraków.

Split/Second is an intense action racing game
set within a reality television show. Competitors
will vie to be the first to the finish line in a
made-for-TV city set rigged to blow with the
ultimate goal of becoming the season champion.
Players in Split/Second don't just collide with
other vehicles to knock them from the track, but
can also trigger devastating events that
drastically alter the dynamics of the race.
Players must use pinpoint timing to obliterate
