Rednex - Dyskografia








Rednex jest szwedzkim zespołem tworzącym muzykę będącą mieszanką gatunków country oraz motywów pieśni Indian amerykańskich.

Janne Ericsson, Örjan Öberg oraz Pat Reiniz, trzech szwedzkich producentów, którzy spróbowali wymieszać muzykę country z muzyką techno, postanowiło powołać do życia Rednex. Zadecydowali o odświeżeniu tradycyjnej pieśni folkowej, „Cotton-Eyed Joe”, i przedstawienia jej w postaci współczesnej muzyki tanecznej.

Eksperyment ten spowodował zdobycie międzynarodowej popularności na świecie w roku 1995, kiedy to Cotton Eye Joe zawojował dyskoteki.

W roku 2000 również singiel Spirit Of The Hawk, pochodzący z albumu Farm Out zdobył znaczną popularność w europejskich dyskotekach.
